A Rant About Tolerance has a purposely ironical title. It describes tolerance and intolerance in the spectrum of human behavior, not as tidy opposites with an obvious "right answer." How can an idea that a child can understand prove so difficult to implement out in the world? Anthropologist and former S&P 500 executive Harold Fethe explores psychological experiments, cognitive-behavioral perceptions, ideology, and other aspects of the question. The film presents stories and examples that take tolerance out of the stratosphere and show how universal and straightforward the idea of tolerance is: it's the Golden Rule. David Hodge produced and directed.
